Generally, developers just comment out something that is no longer used. This code is still there and active. Leaves one to wonder why.
It's because, to them, it makes more sense to just comment out something that is still used by many. 🤷‍♂️

So far I've made these changes: Removed Teams Chat and Widgets from taskbar, Changed Default font to Arial Rounded MT Bold, Modified Context menu, widened scrollbars. I'm hopeful there will be a way to ungroup taskbar icons in the near future.

How did you do that - inbuilt settings of external util?

Cheers,

Mike.
I used these tutorials.
Disable-show-more-options-context-menu-in-windows-11 Now that I reread my post and I could have worded it better. I didn't actually modify the items within the context menu - only disabled "Show more".

I used this for widening scrollbars from Windows Tenforums Change the size of scrollbars I entered -350 in ScrollHeight and ScrollWidth. Default is -255.

I always create a system image and restore point prior to any registry edits.
