why a CD in front of C drive

Why is there a CD in front of the C drive or should it be that way? It functions ok.

Hey, If you right click on the the hard drive and go to properties, It should allow you to rename it to whatever you want. I believe thats all it is, Not sure how it changed itself, Usually one would need to go in and change it, Literally takes 2 seconds but i don't think is something someone would do and then forget about all together, Its pretty specific.

If a drive has a drive letter assigned it can be changed in Disk Management, e.g. if the ODD is E: but you want it to be L: just change it. If L: is already taken change that to P: then change the ODD to L:. It's not hard but just have to know that 2 drives can't use the same letter.
