Why are my some of my browser Edge video and ads in Spanish?

In the last few days my Browser, edge, is playing lots of vides in Spanish. Why? what happened. I only use English here in the USA forever. What did MS do to my computer? How do I fix it? I have searched and looked and I can't find the issue or the fix. Thanx

I don't know what happened but uBlock Origin is effective at stopping unwanted content. See: -

I'll go out on a limb and guess if it's a trojan left by the Spanish in the 1500/1600s.

I clicked on the video screen (ads played in video) and did something to fix it, not sure what... but it shouldn't have happened, all of my settings are English. First time this ever happened in my life on a computer.

I hear you retiredat44. On opening browser to New Tab Page, Edge keeps asking me if I want to use English as my preferred language, even after selecting 'Save'. I find Edge has bugs that Microsoft doesn't care to fix.

it happened again, my ads are playing in Spanish after Win11 did a sneaky update! I don't want to hear Spanish, how the heck does this happen when the bozos at MS throw these crappy updates at us in the middle of the night? I forgot exactly how I fixed this before... !!

Are you sure it's not the link you are using? Other than that, I haven't a clue.

My Edge on Win11 is now at Version 108.0.1462.42 (Official build) (64-bit), not seeing any issue with the ads.

I had to go back into browser settings, and even thought they were still English, I had to click them again,,, makes no sense, but it fixed it again! The MS people create problems where non existed before...
