Winaero Tweaker Stop Windows 11 update.

Winaero website mentions how to easily stop windows 10 from updating. But nothing about how to stop Windows 11 from updating. Is Winaero going to update their software app?

How to disable Windows Update in Windows 10 RTM

Running Winaero Tweaker app see:
Winaero Tweaker, Behavior, Disable Windows updated and notifications, "Here you can disable Windows Update in Windows 10. Just enable the checkbox".
Not a word is said about Windows 11 !

As a workaround, you could change the max days to pause updates for a really long time, then pause Windows Update to this max to effectively disable Windows Update.

"When updates resume, your device will need to get the latest updates before it can be paused again."
Yeah, like Nog said, this is a temp fix.

I have home version Win11, has no group/local policy editor.
After a couple hours searching, I found a policy editor for home version Win 11: PolicyPlus

When you edit a policy, for instance "CONFIGURE AUTOMATIC UPDATES", then you must use Files/"save policies", or it won't stick.
disable = no Windows updates
not configured = Windows updates happen normally

Unfortunately, the Configure Automatic Updates policy doesn't work in the Home edition.

The main problem is Microsoft keeps preventing the usual methods like below from disabling automatic updates.

I use Chris Titus Tech "Windows ToolBox" and since no updates! LINK (NO More Build Type)
