Morning all, I am using adobe lightroom every thing was ok but recently when I use the eraser tool the whole thing freezes any help would be most welcome,

I don't know much about all this stuff, but am heavily into photography and use my PC for editing with various application's i.e. Luminar, Nik collection, photo studio 12 and Picasa tried PS , too complicated for old geezer's 😐 recently lost all my pictures thanks' to a Microsoft download on my old windows 10 tried everything to no avail but I learned a lot about PC's , luckily I saved everything to a memory stick now just have to remember where I put It 😕having just used the site to help me get rid of a pinned folder that refused to be unpinned I am impressed and grateful so thanks for that.
What version of Lightroom?

I'm Windows 11 Pro 22H2 and Lightroom 12.1 (subscription).

Edit: Eraser working well for me without issue. Just tested it.

I also have Windows 11 Pro 22H2 and Lightroom 12.1 subscription. All is working fine here too.

Thanks for your reply Gary, I used Microsoft remote help, I hadn't installed a recent update, plus they gave the PC a few tweaks,
all good now, editing away like crazy. thanks again
