Windows 11 does not recognize my Dolby Vision display LG C1. So Dolby Vision does not appear in the Windows HDR settings. I have installed the Dolby Vision Extension from the Microsoft Store. Windows OS build is 26100.4946. My graphics card is RTX 4070 super, and driver 580.97.
Barely mentioned in Windows settings just HDR "Supported". Dolby Vision is just an HDR variation, settings in the Dolby Vision App.
You will also need to be watching Dolby Vision content.
Change settings on TV to enable the feature, get the PDF manual, or search YouTube etc.
My Laptop display is all integrated and supports HDR and indeed comes with HDR calibration profiles and the Dolby Vision App.
I don't see it in the MS Store.
If the LG has drivers, you need to install them. Contrary to popular belief some monitor do require drivers for full functionality or special features.
