Windows 11 does not work with monitor using Display Port?

I'm still waiting Asus to respond me back :-) I've sent dxdiag output, some videos showing what's happening, etc.

Did you look into monitor settings? Of course this won't explain why it suddenly stopped working.

Installing WIndows 11 from USB, with the computer connected using Display Port to the monitor.

Asus Prime Z690 Wifi D4 + Intel I7 12700k processor with Intel Integrated UHD Intel 770 graphic card
Philips 241b8q monitor connected using Display Port 1.2 4k UHD cable

Computer boots, BIOS, etc. Boot menu, I choose boot from USB, it boots. Then the installation wizard is shown, I select language, installation target disk, etc. etc. the installation begins... it does many things, and after a while, I'm asked to enter my user, and then screen seems to switch off and does not shown anything more ¿?

Computer seems to keep working, the Monitor continues working.... but nothing is shown in screen

what's happening with display port???
Ummm, It works with mine with no problem

Latests test I've done and I've sent in videos, showing the issue to Asus:

  1. Booting with Display Port -> I start seeing boot, etc. Windows loading, but it goes black… and I’ve to disconnect DP in computer after more than 1:10 minutes and connect DP cable again. And then I got Windows 11 screen OK.
  2. Switch off monitor with Display Port KO -> I have Windows 11 working with display port, then I switch off monitor (power front button) and when I swicht on back again, it goes black… I’ve to disconnect DP in computer and connect DP again, and then I got Windows 11 screen OK
  3. Boting with HDMI -> everything Works ok, in few seconds it boots and i get Windows screen OK
  4. Switch off monitor with HDMI -> I have Windows 11 working with hdmi , then I switch off monitor (power front button) and when I swicht on back again it Works OK

Checking the specs of the integrated GPU: Product Specifications

Processor Graphics

  • Processor Graphics ‡Intel® UHD Graphics 770
  • Graphics Base Frequency300 MHz
  • Graphics Max Dynamic Frequency1.50 GHz
  • Graphics OutputeDP 1.4b, DP 1.4a, HDMI 2.1

Checking the specs of the Monitor: searching this Phillips site shows 2 models, 41B8QTAA/27 and 241B8QJEB/27 but the tech specs for them look to be similar.

Connectivity

Signal Input
  • VGA (Analog )
  • DVI-D (digital, HDCP)
  • DisplayPort 1.2
  • HDMI 1.4

So, your DP 1.2 cable is correct to use - but for some reason Windows may be trying to force a faster connection (perhaps by trying to initiate DSC) to the DP port on the monitor, which I cannot find any reliable information showing that the monitor actually supports it.

Thnx my friend! I've already checked what kind of DP supported the Monitor... that's the reason because I changed the DP 1.4 cable with another DP 1.2 :-)
My bet was that! but the result is the same :-(
Thnx for the troubleshooting philips page but nothing new to test there!
I'm waiting the third part involved in this issue (ASUS) to let me know something, if they found something to say me ;-)
The fourth part involved (MS Windows 11) has no regular support, and the MS community is plenty of staff in a rush to gain 'kudos' just answering you obvius things to do ... but noone has idea about this missfunction
Thnx!

Does it work in safe mode? I have used the Displayport on my system, works fine... What bios ver are you running? currently 1003 (Although this should not make any difference). The only issue I had was hardware acceleration In Adobe premier elements.. fixed by hacking the allowed graphics cards list. Intel 770 was not listed.

I know you all know a damn sight more than me but did you take out the HDMI cable before plugging in the Display cable. I know because I have done it, when I first got this monitor I was using hmdi and someone said display is better so I plugged that in but left the hdmi in and of course, nothing worked! Par for the course from me!
