Solved Windows 11 update Install error - 0xc1900101

When available post:
a) hp computer serial number

add WMIC:
administrative command prompt:
Code:
DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:WMIC~~~~

Find serial number:
serial# CND5322TQD I think I ran the WMIC correctly and it shows the same serial#

View the computer and

open administrative command prompt:

wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber
wmic bios get serialnumber

See if one of these commands reports the proper number for the HP website.

I ran into a problem upgrading windows 10 to windows 11 that may be closely related. My installation started with about 150 minutes of slowly running from 0% to 100%, rebooted, then ran for 10 hours of "Working on updates, stalled at 0%. I finally rebooted it and got this message...

The fix: near the start of installation, in a dialog titled "Install Windows 11", click on the text "Change how Setup downloads updates", which brings up the choice ...

... then select "Not right now", then click "Next" to continue the installation (the "recommended" choice was also the default choice)

For details, see ...
... and method 2 in ...

I found I had run sfc /scannow and the verification completed overnight and did not find any integrity violations. should I now try to install the K file again?
Claude AI said this:

Great! The SFC scan completed successfully with no integrity violations found. That's good news - your system files are intact.

Do you still want me to reboot and Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete.

Restart Windows and run sfc again.

You can spend as much of time solving it; Believe me! One solution will save time; Do an In-Place-Installment. You are back at the original version of what ever release you have. Your personal data and programs are secure; It replaces just the basic engine what lays underneath under every Windows version. After that; Let your system getting updated to the last version or Build and all troubles will be gone.

I am getting so confused. I appreciate everyone's suggestion. My biggest concern at the moment is that since this 10 year old HP Envy originally failed at allowing to install Windows 11, I had to do a couple of things to bypass whatever the issue was. I am not adept at this stuff! I showed my friend the YouTube on what had to be done in order to allow Windows 11 to be installed and it work. It is just this latest cumulative update that has caused all of these issues. Claude AI said to just forget this last update and install the newest 24H2. My friend could easily do that. So why should I do all of the steps to find out the issue on what is preventing this last Cumulative security patch? I appreciate everyones's suggestions.

Is what Zbook recommended in post #9 Microsoft provides ISO files for Windows Server and Windows 11 to download. You can use these ISO files to clean install or in-place upgrade Windows 11 what you are referring to as In-place-installment?. And also in Zbook post #13?
