Windows 11 won't install Windows app

WINDOWS 11 22H2
I am disappointed in Microsoft after upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10. In addition to the numerous annoying UI changes there is one application that I used extensively in Windows 10 which I cannot even install. This is not a third-party app but one developed by Microsoft.

I am talking about Your Phone which may be called Link to Windows or Your Phone app or Phone Link. As I mentioned above, I had the app installed on my Google Pixel 6 device but now it doesn’t find the Pixel 6 even though they are linked.

I know the app is included on Galaxy phones and has to be installed in Android phones and that it does not have the full capability of the Galaxy version. It does have the features I use - phone and messaging. If there is a way to install it in Windows 11 that I have not been able to find, please tell me where to download it. If not is Microsoft going to fix the current app to work in Windows 11.

I know that Windows 11 is a WIP. How can I submit a request to address this issue.

Thanks, Kenneth Gash, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Not sure I understand. Phone Link is installed on my system (I don't use it), but then HP did the install when they built it. Version 0.23022.149.0

I don't even have a smart phone. So I can't help if your phone isn't doing what it should.
But this forum has a tutorial for just about everything :-)

I believe what you're looking for is called Phone Link.

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Yup, Phone Link is what needs to be installed, if it's not already. Then your phone needs to have the Link to Windows feature, usually preinstalled by the manufacturer.

Also, my phone connects to Phone Link over WIFI, not Bluetooth.

Thanks guys😁
I now have installed Pone Link and it works as it should.
I was able to open the settings in the Phone Link app and Reset it to initial settings. After that it installed correctly

I am still working through transferring my brain from Windows 10 to 11.

Once you get the Taskbar icons out of the Center of the Taskbar, you should have it licked. Well, almost.
I've installed Win-11 about 15+times so far, and every time I find something new to tweak or adjust. It's the "Never Ending Story"!

Good luck with that Phone!
