The screenshots in post #1 show that they were Edge notifications from a web site.

Some years ago they would modify the desktop shortcut to load the browser on a specific website. All we had to do was to modify the shortcut again and remove the URL at the end. A more advanced malware would replace the startup website with a specific one. We had to just restore the startup website to the desired one. Today they use cookies. Deleting cookies is not enough. When I find too many malware results in a full system scan with Superantimalware, I also do a second full system scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware. If again it finds too many, it is time for backup and format. The only safe way to get rid of them.
