Windows 23H2 MCTs available, including .ISO

This is trick or treat! Earlier I used WU to update my compatible system and all is well. I just finished installing on my non-compatible from the ISO and I get the 22H2 22621.2506 in winver. Smell my feet MS!

Edit: I should say I downloaded from the MS site from the Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices. Guess I'll do the MCT instead.
Edit 2: I used the setup.exe product server trick to install to this non-supported machine.

Well, after installing from MCT I get this:

Giving up tonight but it looks like this unsupported machine will not get, at least at the moment, 23H2.

For the people who are not successfully updating, have you tried KB5027397 Enablement Package?

Looks like the MCT is still creating the 22H2 old ISO 22621.1702 which came out several months ago, on 5/5/2023.

that's not due to unsupported hardware, the MCT is building the wrong ISO version. This is what I reported back on my post #13 in this thread.

Yes Bree showed me that in another thread. MS at the top of their page advertises it will be 23 H2 but it is not at the moment.

I did not think 23H2 would not work on unsupported machines rather that I had something strange occurring on this box, which is still in play seeing that the ISO does not update it either.

MS hasn't released a new products.cab to manage which ISO is provided. Just wait a while, until they refresh it.

Seeing that there were issues with the MCT, I downloaded the actual iso from the MS download site, which was 23H2. I updated one of my unsupported Windows 10 PCs to 23H2. Used Rufus to make a bootable usb with all the work arounds. Was successful in doing the in-place upgrade. I'll see how this goes over the next few days on the unsupported PC.

They should put a note on the download site stating which Build is available to download.
It is a waste of time downloading 6GB just to find out that you get an old obsolete build.

Already did upgrades from windows 10 on unsupported devices last week to Windows 11 23H2, no problems with the old known hacks.
Only the latest Canary builds have different checks for the hardware requirements and don't work on old Legacy Bios machines anymore.

I did the same. It installed, winver shows 23H2. However, it's missing copilot, it's missing tabs in notepad, etc. Something isn't right.
