i am currently looking at MXLinux and its looking pretty good

just think when they finally decide that age verification is mandatory across the board
every adult on the planet will need age verification and it brings a whole new meaning to these mega data centres.

Last time I used this trick, the hybrid Windows 10/11 USB flash drive it worked only for MBR Legacy BIOS mode. If you create a hybrid GPT UEFI mode USB flash drive it fails with an error at the second restart phase. But you could instead create a hybrid Windows 11 23H2/25H2 USB flash drive instead. That is create a 23H2 USB flash drive and replace the install.wim with that from 25H2 ISO. I did that to attempt to install 24H2 on my test laptop without SSE4.2 support (see 1st system specs) but of course it stuck at the Windows logo after the first restart because it tried to execute a SSE4.2 instruction and hanged.

PS: Wait a minute... Now that I think of it again, the trick with the hybrid USB won't work because the age verification is after installation at the OOBE stage where you create your account. One temporary workaround is to create a local Administrator account instead of using a Microsoft account, but once you try to login to Microsoft Store or elsewhere you will be asked again. You can decline but then you will be treated like a child and you won't be able to do online purchases or access restricted apps or websites.
