Yes, but the looks of things on the eM website, it is the same as Mail & Calendar, though I have to pay to get more features. Does anyone know how to back up my contacts, calendar and messenger files in Windows 10 to get ready for 11? Anyways thanks for the feedback everyone, I may not even be able to upgrade o 11 on a surface epro 5

OK, I think em client can be customised to be quite like live mail but like win11 you have to get used to it :ROFLMAO:
Can you show me your customised version to be like live mail, what I can it is these same as mail.

I see, can you send a screenshot of what the app looks like, still I need to pay for premium features, rather stick with Mail & Calendar at that point or Outlook. no plans to switch to 3rd party :)

I see some images on Bing, it is nice but I prefer not to. Thanks anyways , I made up my decision. Thank you everyone and appreciate it

Hello, I tried it out, it's not good, it's not having calendar. How do I remove all the app now?

@Wannagofast Do you have this issue when writing a new reply in emails, where if you paste or type long then one sentence long, it will overlap on the second line? How did you fix it?

Thanks

Best to go online and check it out, plus reviews as mine in not set up like Live mail it's set up like Outlook. Live mail is far too dated for me.

Alright, thanks and I did check it out, not really my fit in preference. Anyways, I will stick with Live until it dies, then I will just use Mail & Calendar.

I'm addicted to Live Mail and was disappointed that once transitioned to Windows 11, on new messages I would get the error "Message could not be displayed" in the e-mail body. Was fortunate to fine this post which explained how to adjust the Registry and in about 5 minutes everything was working perfectly. FYI, in the Title it mentions Windows 10 but the solution worked perfectly in Windows 11:

Good you sorted it, I just gave up and moved on when it got outdated. Office was the way to go for me, I use Office 2019 Pro Plus (click to run) it does the lot

Working for me too on Win 11. I had to remember to redo the registry fix though.

@debgram2000 I wouldn't bother for a mail system that hasn't had security updates for a while and is unsupported, there are plenty better programs about

Once MS stopped supporting Outlook Express I tried Outlook etc and even after I removed all the features I didn't want it was still very poor compared to what I was used to. In Seven Forums OE Classic was mentioned so I tried that. Even then it was already an excellent replacement for OE. I later paid the small one-off fee to upgrade to OEC PRO and with the various upgrades it beats the original as well. The programming is done by volunteers (like some open source projects) and questions and bugs (few) dealt with politely in less than a day. Recent changes make it able to be set as the default email client so interfaces fully. It is already checked for Win 11 compatibility.
It is now the only email client I use, and if I need a calendar, then the standard Win 10 version is good enough. (But I admit I still prefer a printed one on the shelf in the living room!)
