Wont boot to BIOS

Windows 11 Professional (x64) Version 24H2 (build 26100.4061)
So currerently using an older pc as the other wont start.
What ive tried so far.
Removing H/D,connecting them to different ports,power connectors.put the H/D in other pc and scan disk says they are fine.
Removed RAM reinserted swapped and put them in individually.
Took Comos battery out and put in a new battery.
Removed and reinserted BIOS power connector and replugged back in.
Started with just monitor all peripherals removed..
im now thinking the motherboard is kaput?
any other ideas would be great.

its a ten pin connector that’s plugged into the board,its probably got another name but as it was there i unplugged it and reinserted it just in case.

Ive got a boot USB it doesn’t boot to that either just the screen as previously described.

Do you get any motherboard lights? Do the fans spin? yes fans spin i'm not sure the post lights although as said it was loading to the F2 DEL boot screen so i assumed it was doing the POST ,also sees keyboard mouse etc, ive disconnected and if i get some ideas form this thread give them another go tomorrow,been trying for around 4 hours earlier.

Good, then we can rule out a bad Microsoft firmware update.
If your motherboard have beep/LED/display error codes, do you get any?
And when you hit the power button, does it sound as the PC is powering up? (this was easier to hear with floppy drive or mechanical disks)
Does the Power supply give you the right voltage?
When you open the computer to switch CMOS battery, did you smell anything like reminds you of burned electronics?
When you removed and put back all the power connectors to the motherboard, did it felt like resistant or did it slide a bit "to easy"?
Also have a look inside the connectors if it look like some pins are darker then the others.. That can be bad contact so it dont get the power.
If you have a PCIe graphic card and you also internal graphic on the board.. test to remove the Nvida card and see if the computer start.

That is the first few things that pops up in my mind. :-)

Odd thing is over the weekend I was going through my old pics I had in deep storage, I have an old first Gen i7 860 with an asus p7p55-e lx motherboard. Everything was going great, but then got a bluescreen after a windows update and now it won't boot into the bios, the issue was actually the graphics card. See if removing the gpu helps.

You can always try the paper clip test on the power supply.
In the directions at the link, you'll be putting the paper clip between a green and black wire, on the 24 pin connector.
