24H2 Media Creation Tool does NOT create a usable bootable USB

I tried to create a bootable 24H2 USB using the official 24H2 MCT and it failed miserably.

Everything seemed to go OK creating the USB; however, when I tried to boot from it, instead of the configuration screen(s) for language, keyboard, etc, it stopped asking for a driver to 'search for the discs on my system'

Anyone have any ideas to resolve this issue?

I was able to create a bootable USB using the downloaded 'Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices' (using Rufus) associated with the MCT release.

All Precisions come from Dell with disk mode optioned as RAID which uses Intel Rapid Storage Controller. It's explained in Step 10 in tutorial. If you are doing a clean install and your disks is not seen, You have 2 options. Either point the installation process to the IRST driver as described in that tutorial step
OR If one does not use RAID (this is my preference)
go into uefi bios, change disk mode to AHCI rather than RAID. Save changes. Restart the windows installation and your disks will be recognized using the MS Nvme driver. It has been proven you lose no disk performance from using this MS driver.
I strongly advise you to disconnect all other drives except your system drive before doing a clean install.

I converted all my Optiplexes over to AHCI and haven't looked back.
