Any Linux users (VM or Real) using ReFS Windows file system

Hi folks
I found this old link from paragon software about a Linux ReFS file driver so one presumably can connect it with Windows RefS formatted drives.


It's a bit old -- so before I start blowing up systems -- has anybody used this successfully on any recent Linux distro. I get the impression that this package isn't being actively developed any more though.

I've heard about it but I don't know of anyone who used it yet.
Give it a try.
Might better wait for a decent integrated solution, like the 'ntfs-3g' package but it might take years to land, also depending if MS is willing to help or not.

It might be interesting if I needed to access Windows on my hard drives - but I'm running Silverblue and 'Debian Trixie and am happy with that.

Debian Trixie is fine -- but I still prefer Arch Linux -- kernel is at 6.6.7 / 6.6.8 level and I've never in a few years had any problems with archlinux system upgrades. Manjaro updates regulary break system if running VM's. (TPM emulator swtpm etc) if you run Windows VM's via QEMU / KVM).

I'd still say for running Linux host machines and Windows VM's there's only 3 Linux systems worthy of considersation -- Arch Linux, Debian and Fedora. Anything else -especially ubuntu where amost anything you want to install is mandated by forcing users --especially novices etc into using SNAP / FLATPAK / DOCKER rather than the command line e.g pacman, dnf, rpm etc.
