I know I know -- I've been here before with many BT issues.But... I was able to install and work my funky earbuds. I now see its name listed on the BT device manager. So my question is, my nice earbuds that I can't install -- do they need their own driver? I tried to go to the product page to see about a driver but it just comes up with more Amazon for sale stuff. Or should the installed driver that shows up in device manager work for any and all BT ear buds. Hope this makes sense. Thanks.

In any case, if a paired Bluetooth device fails to connect over and over, even after disabling Bluetooth for a few seconds and enable it again, the fix is to forget the device (remove it from the list) and pair it again. The same workaround works for smartphones and other devices with Bluetooth connection. Not only in Windows. So remove the device from the list and pair it again.

I could swear I posted another boo hoo about BT failure earlier today but don't see it. At any rate, Q32 buds working fine for last few days. Today, no deal. So I contacted MS who provided a chat with a chat person...Went through a bunch of stuff and the final was the following: A power flush. Up until that step, after all the other steps, nothing worked. But this seemed to. Q32 back in biz...yay!!

Every day—for some strange reason -- it works. Until I say connect. No deal.

I look at the device mgr before I attempt to connect and the Q32 buds are present. So I think good to go. I indicate, connect, no deal. I then look at device manager the Q32 are gone.

So I uninstall the Realtek adapter driver, restart and then it connects.

Before I am done with the pc for the day, I put the earbuds in their case. Then I shut down the PC.

Should I reorder that sequence? First shut down the pc – which obviously will shut down the earbuds.

I am at a loss as to what to do with these buds...they work fine all day – until the next morning – then no connect. I know I have asked for input many times – hope someone has a new idea. :-)

If you put the buds in the case they will automatically disconnect. That is normal.

The next day after you power up the laptop just take the buds out of the case again,
They should show up in devices as disconnected. To connect them again just select Connect.
