The disk drives displayed excellent HD Sentinel overview results.
HD Sentinel displayed a flash drive without results.
If possible, reattach this flash drive then post HD Sentinel images / share links.

The flash drive was just the thumb drive that I was going to, and then loaded the BIOS upgrade onto.

Last night I upgraded my BIOS, when I it rebooted I froze like this. I thought it might be doing something in the background so I went to sleep. It was still in the same state when I woke up. I rebooted and it occurred again, and again. I am able to get into BIOS, anything afterwards stalls. <The link is a photo of the stalled screen> What do I do now?

It didn’t work. I removed and reinstalled the M.2 boot drive. It is still freezing after it gets past the BIOS section. Where do I go from here? If I were to do a clean install without having done a backup how would it affect me?

I assume that I will have to reinstall all of the programs that I downloaded, though I imagine that none of my files would be lost or damaged. Is that correct?

Check the motherboard options for BIOS upgrades and downgrades as that was the most recent modification / upgrade.

The logs had reported controller errors which prompted the drive tests.
The drive tests were all unremarkable and the SMART results were excellent.

There were two misbehaving drivers (GPU and Wifi) which were replaced earlier in the thread.

See if is possible to boot directly to the BIOS without a frozen screen and then see if there is option to restore a default BIOS.
(For example the capability to upgrade or downgrade while booting directly to the BIOS)
(Some computer manufacturers (HP is the computer I'm using to type this post) have the option to upgrade and downgrade the BIOS by booting to the BIOS)

If the computer cannot be booted to Windows then files may be able to be backed up manually or Windows may be able to backup files to Windows.old.
a) find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB)
b) find a working Windows computer

On the working Windows computer create a bootable Windows 11 Media Creation Tool (MCT) (Windows 11 iso)

Funny thing I found, when I boot with the USB flashdrive at the top of the load order, memtest86 pops up and wants to run a test. Is that normal? Would running it help?

Also, no downgrade options.

A Memtest86 bootable flash drive was used earlier in this thread.
If this bootable flash drive is no longer attached it should no longer boot to Memtest86.
When the bootable MCT is created it will format the flash drive before creating the MCT.
As part of the freeze troubleshooting steps (see post troubleshooting link) all of the RAM modules can be removed and one can be installed for testing purposes.

Hello, hello, hello! I got Windows booted up again and was able to finish the steps that you have laid out for me. Well, all except one. I am having trouble uninstalling and reinstalling the wifi Driver, this is the last task on the list.
I appreciate the guidance thus far, I haven't had much time on the computer though I am happy to say no BYSOD's thus far. Thank you Zbook

Yes, it was BIOS 13.02. I moved back to 10.04 and it booted up with Windows Huzzah! I then did another try to Update the BIOS to 13.02, and it froze again. Pushed it back to 10.04 Windows booted up again. Knowing that I need to have an up to date BIOS I settled on 11.01 version and that has been working fine.

Mind if I send another V2 log? I am not sure if I’ve had crashes since.

3) Start WDV with these settings:
a) test all non-Microsoft drivers
b) test no Microsoft drivers
c) start the testing with the three customized test settings in the Ten Forums link

Plan to run WDV for 48 hours.

If there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

verifier /querysettings

Post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

Restoros I've not used nor read comments from other members.

One feature that it displayed was: Optimize Registry

If software is used to modify the registry make sure that you make free or pay backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud.
(Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.)

When available update the progress with WDV testing.

The WDV tool runs in the background.
If there is a stressed driver that misbehaves then there is a BSOD.
If there are no misbehaving drivers then there are no BSODs..
The testing starts with only 3 customized tests to check computer performance.
If there is a significant decrease in performance including very slow boot then comment into this thread so test settings can be modified.
