Windows 11 PRO
Was hoping if someone could help out. I recently did a fresh install of windows and was able to map to my synology nas with no issues. I installed a program Hone... did some tweaks... and I could of sworn I did a system restore. Unfortunately... i tweaked something... i uninstalled the program hoping it would revert.... but at the current moment.... i can see the Nas on my network but in spite of using the correct credentials.... which I can be assured i can log into it with the same credentials via the DSM in my browser i cant get in. I've tried clearing in Credentials Manager, resetting the network, everything I'm nearly positive is turned on in network settings like network discovery and such. Any other suggestions?

Sorry no one has answered. I just saw your post but am not the one to deal with NAS stuff. I'm flagging @hsehestedt to see if he might have any ideas. Hope you don't mind @hsehestedt

I'm sure you have likely done this already, but have you signed out and then back in or rebooted? The reason I ask is due to how Windows can sometimes behave if you try to establish a network connection after having tried to connect with incorrect credentials first.

Also, could you give me a little more detail as to precisely what happens when you try to connect? Are you getting a specific error message? If so, what does it say?

Also, could you clarify exactly how you are trying to connect to the NAS? If I understand, it sounds like you are trying to connect using a browser. Is that correct or are you using File Explorer?

Any details that you can provide might be helpful.

NOTE: I don't have specific experience with Synology products, so I'm looking at this in general terms, but would you also be able to provide the Synology model number? I'd like to take a quick look at their docs to see if that gives me any other specific ideas.
