That bad huh? Well, there are work arounds for preserving your personal data and keeping the user files by moving them all onto another hard drive and reinstalling the OS. I've done this many times, saving people's data for them. If you have already exhausted every other possibility, that could be an option. Depending on the PC you are using sometimes you can F8 from the UEFI (BIOS) to access safe mode. I have no idea why Windows made it so difficult to access safe mode on the newer 10 and 11 operating systems. Anyway, just a thought.

Taking your PC to a professional will cost you more than a 256GB hard drive. Do your parents know this?

Of course, if you can get free real time professional help consider yourself fortunate.

There are also a lot of professionals here, in this forum. Myself, I'm just an old maverick.

The only certification (and training) I ever got was from Microsoft MSN Gaming zone working as a glorified babysitter.

But I've been building PCs for over 20 years and servicing others for at least as long so I think I know a little bit about the trade.

This black screen issue with Win 11 is a common problem. I hope you manage to solve it soon, without any great expense.

@ghali12345 was very clear that buying an external drive to backup data wasn't a financial option, so I think that would also rule out a new laptop as well. He said that the "pro", that may be able to help, is a family friend (i.e. free) so we'll wait and see how that goes. Anyhow, there was no indication that there is anything wrong with the current computer other than a messed up OS, so there's no need for a new computer. He's just trying to avoid doing a clean install (which may prove unavoidable).

You may want to run this as I had the same issue as you did before which this fixed as Windows would not load up since the the Start menu and the taskbar would not load...

I would do it , if my computer was still booting , probably i will do it if my computer is booting up again
