Just check all the boxes. It won't hurt anything. Disk Cleanup knows what it's doing. :-)
The OP may want to keep the ESD files. As noted in the MiniTools site, " The Windows ESD installation files are related to the feature of “Reset this PC”. They enable you to restore your computer to factory settings. If you delete them, “Reset this PC” will not work normally. If you want to factory reset your computer, you need to use a Windows installation medium instead."

Wow! You have a lot of Users. ^^
If you don't need them all, you could get rid of quite a few GB right there.

I only have one User account, and you can see the size.

Where did you get "Platform-Tools"? Is this applicable?

"Essentially, the 'platform-tools” is a command-line tool meant for developers only. They are a part of the Android SDK Manager and Android Studio and are used to perform more complicated tasks like developing, analyzing, and debugging Android apps APK (Android Application Package file)."

Don't post a picture of it... but I assume you have more than one user in the 22.6 GB folder, right above the Default User.
That's what I was referring to. I assume you have more than one user, in there.

Image1.png

I'm not very well informed on multiple Users, as I only ever have... one User.

In this pic... XP is me... I'm the only user...

Image1.png

All the other Users in my pic, are built in Windows users.
Actually, I don't even know how big a User folder can get. Mine are always small... like 2 GB

And although I've down a few In-Place upgrades... this is the same original install from May 2020 (Win 10)
I did an In-Place upgrade from W10 to W11, back in Jun 2021. then again in Oct 2021

Ahhh. What's all that stuff in your Downloads folder?
If you don't still need that... get rid of it.

Maybe the Videos folder too... if you don't need that.

Don't touch the AppData folder.

/edit
Between the Downloads and the Videos folders you have 19.2 GB in there. ^^

Ahhh. What's all that stuff in your Downloads folder?
If you don't still need that... get rid of it.

Here it is...…and some more for your expert views.

Thanks.

In attempting to delete account, you have managed to set account name blank.

It should look like this with your account name next to size (mine is M).

I have no idea what will happen when you try and go back to file explorer and try to access your folders. Hopefully explorer is clever enough to sort things.

Well the things with the yellow dots... look like Windows ISOs. You can probably get rid of them or move them to a storage drive.
You can check that in File Explorer to make sure.

I don't know what's in the 6.2GB folder near the top. And all the other stuff doesn't really matter.

Just that 5.1 GB 7zip file. That looks like another Windows ISO image.
The thing about ISO images, is that you can always download them again.
It's a good idea to save one on a storage drive, in case you need it and have no internet.

So all in all, it looks like you have 3x 5.1 GB Windows ISO images (one in a 7zip file). Maybe save the latest one on a storage drive, then delete all three from your User folder.

That's 15.3 GB you really don't need in your User folder.

Then go into File Explorer and check what's in the Videos folder and the stuff that's left in the Downloads folder.
You can delete any of that you don't need.
Both my Downloads folder and Videos folder are empty except for a few desktop.ini files.

Image1.png

Now, your backups/restores, should go a bit faster. :-)

/edit
I have my browser(s) all set to save downloads to my Desktop. That way I can keep track of them, and delete them when finished with them. Keeps the junk from piling up on my C:\ drive.

I don't throw everything away... I just don't let it sit on the C:\ drive.

I save the installers for programs I use, pictures, videos, music, documents, etc., in folders on a storage drive.
I even install games on a storage drive.
That way, I still have them handy, but when I want to make a backup or do a restore... it doesn't take more than like 3 minutes.

When you can do backups and restores... fast... it changes the whole way of dealing with Windows.
You can "try" anything, and if something breaks... you're less than 3 minutes away from being up and running again.

I make my OCD work for me. :D

Now I'm tuckered out from all this typing. Who's house is the BBQ at?

Looks better now, transferred quite a bit from downloads. Videos folder has my own personal collection, no movies.

Thanks again for all your expert assistance. (will transfer more once am done Rectify).

I agree creating the last Full backup took quite a while...….

Have a great Sat. afternoon. ;-)
