Hello there,

Is it possible to get the folders back to default location?

I have Windows 11 since yesterday and i`m trying to explore the OS and other apps.

I accidentally deleted my user folder and I want to know how to get back the documents, downloads etc.. folders to default location

If you deleted your user folder... what account are you on right now?

Het zal waarschijnlijk makkelijker zijn om gewoon Windows 11 opnieuw te installeren
Met een schone installatie van Windows 11 verliest u uw documenten en downloads, enz.

Dit is een Engels forum. Het is "misschien" mogelijk om uw gebruikersmap te herstellen, maar uitleggen hoe u dit moet doen... is waarschijnlijk teveel voor de vertaler.

U moet inloggen op het ingebouwde beheerdersaccount en vanaf daar het Recuva-programma uitvoeren.
Als het verborgen beheerdersaccount is uitgeschakeld... heeft u misschien pech als er geen andere accounts op die computer zijn.

I said he should probably just reinstall Windows 11. Explaining how to recover the user folder, is probably too much for the translator.

You need to log on to the built in Administrator account, and run the Recuva program from there.
If the hidden Administrator account is disabled... you might be out of luck if there are no other accounts on that computer.
