DNS won't work with Excel after Win 11 installation

OS
Windows 11
I’m still using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016, & NaturallySpeaking13, and do not wish to upgrade.

With Windows 10, I was still able to use DNS to dictate to Excel. Since upgrading to Windows 11, no. (Oddly, I can now dictate to Word, which was not possible before!)

Since I use Excel almost daily, this is concerning. Is there a way to fix this? (Yes, I HAVE found that the new ‘Voice Access’ will work, but would still prefer to use DNS, if possible.) Are there certain settings within DNS or Excel that can or should be changed?

I would appreciate any suggestions or help.

Thanks so much, J King

Disable DNS over HTTPS compatibility mode in Excel and clear the DNS cache.

Thank you both for replying. XxXxXx, you are correct -- the DNS I was referring to is Dragon Naturally Speaking. Sorry if my question was not clear. So what I'm asking is: is there a way in Windows 11 to get Dragon Naturally Speaking to dictate to Excel.

XxXxX I followed up on the link you provided. Initiated RUN, and typed in
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking14\Program\dgnexcel.dll"

Received this error message:
"The module "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking14\Program\dgnexcel.dll" failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files.
The specified module could not be found."

I haven't the slightest clue what any of that message means. Does it mean anything to you, and if so, could you translate it for this
'technologically challenged' being? o_OThanks so much for your help! J. King

i don't use DNS but it looks likely to be a corrupt install of DNS
try uninstalling DNS and then re-installing using compatibility mode.

then see if the software is working
best of luck Steve ..
