Extend time the log-in screen is visable

Hi there

Anyone know of a way to extend the time the log-in (sign-in) screen is on screen, I'm in the habit of turning on the computer and going to make a cuppa, sometimes forgetting I have it on!!

Using a WI-FI 7 Ugreen USB 3.2 Add-On Dongle, as the built in WiFi is a bit deaf.
Open the Start Menu and type msconfig. You can change the time under the Boot option.

I thought it had fixed, it worked on restart, but on next full reboot it changed back to 30 seconds (despite showing 240 seconds in the box) !

I never had that problem when I changed the boot time although I have mine set to only 5 seconds. You could test using a shorter time and see if it keeps the setting. If it does, slowly increase the time until you find a longest time that works. My next guess is maybe a BIOS setting. I don't remember any setting in BIOS but it's worth checking. I just thought of something else but I don't think it matters. I set my boot time using EasyBCD.
