It took me a few, to turn off all the things it does, but I finally got it...

Yeah. I was pleasantly surprised. Most programs fight you when you try and configure them the way you want.

I usually get serious with foobar for a listening session and put the whole kit and caboodle on my upper screen, takes the whole screen!
'Cept my boy stole my spare screen cuz his broke!
Kinda hard gettin all the foobar stuff arranged on a little 15.6" laptop screen! :p

I'm using the Columns UI.

I still have the Old N Style re-pack stand alone foobar!
Some guy from DeviantArt re-packed it..., for the life of me, I can't find the link but I have the components folder squirreled away somewhere!

I'm just a basic kind of guy.
Some cool visualizations, and I'm a happy camper.

The one I linked above is pretty cool... especially for someone that's actually... musical.
Look closely at the various settings available.
If I was an actual musician, I'd be uber happy with that visualization and it's possible settings.

Foobar! Been a big fan for ages now, love how the program is 100% configurable. Mine is green, off course. No visualizers or lyrics panels or anything, I don't like too much eyecandy. Here's my current Columns UI layout. Main ingredients: Columns UI (duh), Spider Monkey Panel, Panel Stack Splitter, Library Tree. Nothing too fancy, but exactly how I like it.
