Hey all,

I am considering clean installing Windows 11 but I'm curious how stable Windows 11 is in terms of the frequency of (silent) appcrashes in the Reliability monitor.

Is it riddled with red crosses all over the place?

On mine over 5 months there are only 3 critical events, all related to Edge, one for each of the last 3 months and I believe those are to do with the update process as Edge was open at the times. Other than that I have had zero app/ game/ driver issues, even the disk slowdown and explorer memory leak didn't manifest for me.
Most often using blender, Gimp, notepad, LibreOffice, Minecraft (bedrock, RTX), Control, Witcher 3, HZ Dawn, AC Odyssey, YouTube, various graphic and animation utilities (GUI and Terminal based, such as FFMPG) and Macrium Reflect.
Of course all this is just from my experience, other peoples mileage will vary. :)
Bear in mind that although Win11 is built on Win10 to an extent and is mostly stable, it is going through changes often enough to be annoying/ very detrimental to workflow if you happen to have a system with "issues". Make images often.

What little shows up in mine are a few app crashes and a couple related to power when a storm passed through but none for the OS itself.

YMMV. I have some machines that show a critical error once a month; I have others where it happens daily (or more often). Depends on : version (stable beats Dev/Beta/Release Preview channels); devices (and drivers) in use, and certain flaky apps or applications. Interesting and informative to watch, and keep up with, though...

Same here for me - machine (hardware/software) dependent.

That said, I do find it can be a valuable resource in figuring out issues, especially right after a crash.

Does the stable releases (non-insider) show daily errors? If yes, what kind of errors are they?
