mobile is working ok both for national and international calls and messages.
But I couldn't verify/recover/log in to my Gmail account on android mobile. similar behavior as pc.

Sounds more and more like the OP is trying to access someone else's Google account

You said you received the code and then you said you did not.
- Perhaps you meant that you reached some threshold limit of how many times they will send out a code on the same day and you see a response telling you to wait a day / two days before they will allow you to request a code again.

Not questioning if phone works.

It is possible to block numbers and it is each user that decides what numbers to block.

If google is sending code and you are not receiving then it is dying somewhere.

What OS is running on phone?

You might also call your telco and get them to trace although they may not be willing.

Given that we are only providing information that the real owner could use no harm done. Along those lines I don't think any of us have the info on how to hack into a gMail account that has 2FA enable.

The account was set up wrong. No one should be using the original email address as the recovery. Think someone also mentioned backup codes. Huge mis-step not recording.

I know all the vendors are pushing 2FA. Going to be more of these situations going forward. In Canada I've found that MS will not send codes to home phone numbers and there is a large group of people (seniors) that don't have cell phones.

Is it possible the password was forgotten and is being entered incorrectly? I had exactly this issue with Gmail with an old gmail account I hadn't used for a long time, couldn't remember the password and it does this - it sends you in a loop. There are many many people complaining about this on the internet. There was no way I could get into that account, using all the verification it kept asking me for - I tried everything. You can't seem to get contact with anyone either. What happened in the end was - I found the original password written down somewhere, logged in and all was fine.

In a way it's a security thing if you don't enter the correct password, but the verification is ridiculous and doesn't work. If someone else HAS actually hacked in and changed the password, then you won't know the password obviously. But this verification thing has always been in issue with gmail.

I would think very carefully about whether the password is correct - was it changed and you forgot? Was one letter in upper case rather than lower. My gmail account was locked for a year! Until I found the original password!

What I mean is basically, recovering a gmail account seems to be impossible. Been there.

I've never had an issue recoving gmail as I have multiple ways of verification set up. Alternate email, security questions, and cell phone. I have been involved trying to help several people change their gmail password where their cell number or alternate email had changed but they never updated the new info with Google. Possibly that may be your situation as well. But, someone else mentioned a possible hack and I would tend to agree. That's what a hacker does, access your account and change the password as well as the recovery info. If that proves to be what happened to you, I will tell you that you won't get anywhere with Google in recovering the account without knowing what is now on file. Save yourself some time and make a new email account either with Google or another email provider.

I have a recovery account entered an outlook account and I know the names of some files I stored in GDrive provided 15 GB space freely by Google.

July 3, 2022, is the last date I received verification codes from yahoo and google. and now I don't receive verification codes from them..
I mean even yahoo mail which is a different email service than Gmail are not sending verification codes to me.

If you have an outlook domained account are you sending recovery code to this address?

If so and you are not receiving please check your junk / spam settings. Again you can block accounts or domains but blocking gmail as a domain would be a mistake.

As other have suggested you could have cross a threshold in terms of number of tries. You may have to give it a break for 24 hours, might be longer, for their systems to reset.

This is a crazy question but I will ask. Are your friends able to text to your phone?
