Important Notice
  • Starting with 24.50.0, Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® drivers integrate enhancements aligned with Microsoft’s Windows ecosystem quality initiative to optimize performance and user experience.
  • This software package includes drivers for new products - Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE211, Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE213 and Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX231.
  • From the release 23.170.0 package onwards, Bluetooth drivers have been validated to support Microsoft Windows* 11 25H2.
  • For PCs with Intel® Wireless-AC 9560, Intel® Wireless-AC 9462, Intel® Wireless-AC 9461: Before Upgrading from 23.10.x.x - 23.50.x.x versions to this 24.60.0 driver, the user needs to disconnect all the Bluetooth® devices and unpair all the previously paired devices in the PC. Once upgrade is complete, the user can repair the devices and connect them. Fixes for PCs with Bluetooth® drivers prior to 23.10.0 can be upgraded to 24.60.0.
Key Changes (64-bit only)
  • Bluetooth audio connectivity functional improvements.
  • Software version 24.60.0 includes new functional updates, as well as minor fixes that improve performance, stability, and vendor-specific features. Users are encouraged to update to the latest version for best performance.

Yes, that one works fine.

But that is the WiFi Driver, and not the Bluetooth one.

Ok, after investigating a little it appears that using a VPN (set to New York) allows me to open the link correctly.

Not sure why Intel blocks certain countries this time around with v24.60.0 (that has never happened before).


Anyway, I was able to obtain the new Bluetooth Driver by using a VPN... lol.

I have two machines with AX210 cards, and one doesn't really use Bluetooth, so I installed 24.60.0 on it first as a test after reading something that got my attention in the description. It required me to reboot afterwards, which was unusual, and after I did, I found the device "couldn't start" per Device Manager. I've been applying the updates as they've been made available on the Intel web site, and this is the first time this has happened. For this 24.60.0 driver, Intel says:

For the previous driver I'd installed, 24.50.0, they said:

So, this new driver should have had an update for my AX210, but unlike the previous 24.50.0, it didn't work. Moreover, reverting to the previous driver in Device Manager took me back to a 23.xxx version, which is crazy, because I verified I was running 24.40.10.3 before installing the new one after reading about the weird divergence in driver version numbers between new and old cards. Again, this machine doesn't use the Bluetooth, so I just disabled it until I have more time to fool with it. The corresponding Wifi driver did install fine.
