    • This update introduces native support for RTX Spark devices, unlocking the full NVIDIA App feature suite at peak performance. Additionally, users can now manually configure GPU memory allocation to fine-tune performance across demanding gaming, creative, and AI workloads.
  • New Performance Mode for DLSS Frame Generation (Beta)
    • The NVIDIA App now includes a new Performance Mode (Beta) for DLSS Frame Generation that generates more frames, especially at higher multipliers.
    • Access this features under Graphics > Program Settings > Driver Settings > DLSS Override - Model Presets > and set Frame Generation to “Model C”
  • AI Agent Support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) server
    • NVIDIA App includes a local MCP server (Model Context Protocol) that lets a compatible AI agent control the NVIDIA App using natural-language requests. This means your AI assistant like Hermes, OpenClaw or Perplexity can see your installed games and apply optimal settings, or enable Shadowplay to record gameplay, all through simple conversation.
    • Access this feature under Settings > Features > AI Agents and App Connections
  • New Statistics to the NVIDIA Overlay
    • Added additional CPU statistics like CPU Clock, CPU Power, and CPU Temperature.

Is this worth me downloading? Is it going to fix the resolution issue that I reported after the last upgrade when it defaulted all my game settings to monitor default?

I suppose only downloading it and trying it will tell you that, no biggy to roll back the driver if you need to

Ooh i see someone accidentally used the geforce experience game settings optimiser thing by accident, Yeah i done this once and it set every installed game to what it thought i should be running( They're usually off by quite in a bit) and i had to go and change em all again to what i wanted. Not a massive biggie but a job none the less.

I tried to manually change again to no avail. I also removed/unticked anything that governed optimisation, same result. I totally removed GeForce Experience and rebooted to get rid of the optimisation; no change no manual changes available.. Whats next? Reinstallation of games?

What happens when you boot up a game, any game I guess, nearly every game I've ever played has graphics settings, does it just not let you save them or..

How did you remove GFE, and how do you update your drivers?

I have had nothing but trouble with this Driver. I went back to 516.40.

Ahh that sucks, What kinda issues you had? Seems fine for me so far. But then again i can't remember the last time i had an issue with a driver, atleast 2 years ago or so.

I can't get out of version 511.79, the latest versions have caused low performance especially in the game I play the most which is forza horizon 5.
My graphics card is a geforce 1650 super, and from the 512.xx version it has been showing low performance on my card. the last 516.59 has caused a graphical defect in the textures of forza, which has only been resolved by returning the driver to version 511.79
