Is this worth me downloading? Is it going to fix the resolution issue that I reported after the last upgrade when it defaulted all my game settings to monitor default?

I suppose only downloading it and trying it will tell you that, no biggy to roll back the driver if you need to

Nothing seems to have changed but I did get the BSOD on initial reboot, second reboot all ok

Ooh i see someone accidentally used the geforce experience game settings optimiser thing by accident, Yeah i done this once and it set every installed game to what it thought i should be running( They're usually off by quite in a bit) and i had to go and change em all again to what i wanted. Not a massive biggie but a job none the less.

I tried to manually change again to no avail. I also removed/unticked anything that governed optimisation, same result. I totally removed GeForce Experience and rebooted to get rid of the optimisation; no change no manual changes available.. Whats next? Reinstallation of games?

What happens when you boot up a game, any game I guess, nearly every game I've ever played has graphics settings, does it just not let you save them or..

How did you remove GFE, and how do you update your drivers?

I have had nothing but trouble with this Driver. I went back to 516.40.

Ahh that sucks, What kinda issues you had? Seems fine for me so far. But then again i can't remember the last time i had an issue with a driver, atleast 2 years ago or so.

I can't get out of version 511.79, the latest versions have caused low performance especially in the game I play the most which is forza horizon 5.
My graphics card is a geforce 1650 super, and from the 512.xx version it has been showing low performance on my card. the last 516.59 has caused a graphical defect in the textures of forza, which has only been resolved by returning the driver to version 511.79
