Edit: I read @gaffar's previous posts. @gaffar meant that the Windows installation succeeded on the first attempt using a Windows 11 installation USB created with Rufus, but failed on subsequent attempts, for example, error code: 0x80070570.

If you enable the "Remove requirement for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot and TPM 2.0" option in Rufus, Rufus adds the answer file shown below to the USB. The file is processed whenever you boot from the USB and run Windows Setup, so the bypass is not limited to a single installation.

For in-place upgrades, Rufus 4.6 and later use a separate setup.exe wrapper to bypass the Windows 11 hardware requirements. Rufus 4.6 introduced this feature with the following change:

If no options are selected in the "Windows User Experience" dialog, Rufus will not modify the Windows installation files to apply any of those customizations.

or injects Autounattend.xml directly into:

Most likely he didn't patch the USB to bypass compatibility check. He installed successfully once in a Windows 11 compliant computer or a virtual machine that skips compatibility check by default, but failed when trying to install on a second unsupported computer. That would make sense. Of course, as we already pointed out, once created PROPERLY a USB flash drive works forever. Another possibility would be to have a GPT USB flash drive that can install on a computer with UEFI boot but fails to boot on a very old computer with Legacy BIOS. For that you have to make sure you create an MBR USB flash drive so it can boot on Legacy systems or in newer computers with CSM enabled.

Should this option be checked or unchecked.
@spapakons on your windows 11 26H2, are you using one camera

on your computer/laptop in multiple apps.

Please tell us, on windows 11 26H2 system in your use, are you able to use your webcam in multiple Apps? Don’t ignore this question.

It is very important.
When I started Rufus, this option was there
among 2 more options. But this option was unchecked in my case.
So, in my case, Does it mean that Rufus didn’t consider it important to scan and repair bad sectors on my USB flash drive.
And Rufus 4.15 is right in my case.
Surely, I am afraid of 0x80070570 error.
And hash codes is different matter.

Rufus leaves "Check device for bad blocks" disabled by default because running the test makes the operation substantially slower. It does not mean that Rufus has checked your USB flash drive and determined that the drive does not need testing.

Since you suspect that the USB flash drive may be causing the 0x80070570 error, you can enable "Check device for bad blocks" and test the drive.

I enabled the checkbox “Scan for and repair bad sectors”. Yes, it took long time to complete, but it didn’t complete, it gave a message in a dialog box “ we have found 4 bad sectors on the usb drive, do you want to repair it, Abort, Retry, ignore” when
I press Retry, it again took long time, until powercut, and everything finished in one

But when I tried another well known software, I m not advertising for this software in this forum. Eases Partition Master, I selected the option of Find and Repair Bad Sectors on USA

drive OH Sorry, USB Drive, it didn’t find any bad sectors on flash Drive.

26H2 Compatibility report:

I installed the 26H2 Enablement Package on my hybrid tablet/laptop Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 to switch from 25H2 build 26200.9445 to 26H2 build 26300.9445. One restart later, nothing suspicious, no issues, knock on wood. I then opened the camera settings in Microsoft Teams and also in Zoom Workplace. Both apps showed the camera image without complaining that another app is using the camera! However, the image updates in real time only on the active application. So if Teams is in the background and Zoom is active, the image updates in Zoom while in Teams the image is frozen and vice versa. So yes, very convenient that when using the camera in one app the others don't complain, but only one app can use it at a time. The image remains frozen to the last frame if an app loses focus and another app using the camera is active. It makes sense.

Rufus’s “Check device for bad blocks” is a destructive diagnostic test, not a bad-sector repair function. In Rufus 4.15, when the test finds bad blocks, Rufus records the numbers of read, write, and corruption errors and displays an Abort / Retry / Ignore dialog.

It's not Rufus job to repair bad sectors. Like I said it is safer and better to replace the USB flash drive if there are bad sectors. Or at least run the standard check disk command (chkdsk) to repair them before using Rufus. Assuming D: is the drive letter of the USB flash drive, the command to fix errors, do a full surface scan and mark bad sectors is:

chkdsk D: /f /b /r
