I often use this analogy when users are reluctant to do a (necessary) clean install, in similar circumstances with your Eset license ... what would your alternative be if it was, for example, a failed drive? Probably none but to accept the losses and treat it as a lesson learnt.no user, no pass, no key for Eset - completely lost.
install was 2y ago( lic for 5 pc, remains 3y).
