Those using MySQL / MariaDB type databases to retrieve stuff into Windows e.g via Ms query and EXCEL or whatever which require an ODBC driver the latest (Free) community ODBC driver is now rel 9.2 (and it work perfectly).

(Note also to continue to use things like MsQuery in EXCEL in later versions of Office go to EXCEL-->options-->data and select the legacy data drivers).
