Never have, because it's a program I use weekly I went for the installed version. I like CCleaner as it's quite a good gentle cleaner, and I don't want to loose any good things, just a quick tidy up

Like you ( I guess ) have been using CCleaner from back in the days when it was called Crap Cleaner, even with 32bit I never had any issues, all my PCs today have been 64bit and I just cant justify paying $40 AUD for each PC for a separate 12mth license for each.

I wish they had a lifetime license or more flexibility.

Anyway I really like the newly added Driver Update Feature and IMO is the main reason I use prog.
Yes also great for the usual Registry clean etc..

So I bought one license and mounted as a portable Device and so far all is good, I can do driver update too.

Also the free version, it is such a mild cleaner, I use it now and again but it cleaners very little compared to others, that is why it is so safe

I've always used the Pro version myself ....worth every penny to me.

I wouldn't pay for such a mild cleaner, I use it a lot but also a Wise cleaner, which will find and clean far more. At the moment the so called "experts" are against cleaning especially registry cleaners, I just carry on the same cleaning routine I have used for years

I also use Wise Cleaner too, along with even a 3rd cleaner. I have 3 installed.
CCleaner does get files Wise Cleaner does not .... depends on your settings in CCleaner Pro ....

I remember you telling me now, I just use the two and it's always one or the other never both, it depends on what I have been doing to build up junk, modding games can produce tons of the stuff

Thats fine Rod ....everyone does there cleanup a little different. I run all 3 ....everyday.

That is true, I run one or the other once a month, sometimes weekly if I have been doing a lot of stuff causing Junk.
