New update of CCleaner

Imo their support is poor. I reported a bug & they refused to accept there was a problem for many weeks of discussion.

I just cancelled my CCleaner Pro subceiption, as my license is not up till 4/1/2023 and they keep billing me in December, year after year. I am tired of dealing with this. I made the final payment today, the Standard release is good eneough for me anyway and they are not The Only cleaner on the market. This all started when Avast took it over and has gotten worse!

CCleaner icon disappearing from the notification area. I’ve reported this several times with no resolution.
Driver updater showing outdated drivers & claiming they’re newer than the ones installed. I reported this months ago & support sent me instructions on how to install the updates & refused to report the bug.
I had to explain several times what the problem was.
I had already blocked/skipped the updates.

New update released today...

Give PC Manager a try. Still in beta and my Microsoft. With CC Cleaner it always seems to screw up some passwords or usernames. PC Manager is very gentle.

As long as you don't have a modified host file that it erases without warning.

CCleaner was good in 2010 or something but now... Windows 10/11 has it's own nice storage clean option

[Patch update 6.11.10455]
We have released a hotfix for version 6.11 that fixes CCleaner crashing when TeamViewer is cleaned. Crashing could have occurred in either Custom Clean or Health Check.

Using CCleaner for years, never had an issue with it. BUT I don't use neither the Registry Cleaner nor the Driver Updater. Papa Microsoft advices not to use a registry Cleaner and I don't like Drivers Updaters utilities

Please don't use anything other than the file/browser clean. Those Driver add ons are awful. Now the reg scan I haven't had any issues with though
