New Win 11 Media Player

Yeah, I grabbed both, .54.0 and .54.70, just to be sure. I may try to install .70 in a VM and see if it actually works or not. I suspect that might be for Win 10 or something else, like maybe for XBox....

Where did you get the .54.70 file? It's still listed as Groove in my Library but if you click to open it, you get the new MP.

@johnlgalt Install the latest. It is still a work in progress, so hopefully the later the version the better it will be, less bugs and more polished.
Where did you find the later version?

I uninstalled Media Player, went to the store and my library did not show Groove or Media Player. I searched for Groove and clicked on get. It reinstalled Media Player preview and it's the .54.0 file. How do you get the .54.7 and is it any different?

I'm thinking the .54.70 file is only for Insiders.

I mentioned this in one of the earlier posts in this thread. Only way I resolved this was to do a System Restore, but System Restore might not be active on your computer.

Not sure, but I read somewhere:

Note: There is a similar file with the number 54.70, that weighs about 92 MB. Don't download this version, as it cannot be used to update the Media Player.

Hmmm.... seems to have the same issue I had with Groove. Doesn't seem to like network drives (USB on my router).... WMP had no problem finding my music, but this one does. It does, however, find video....

Smaller thumbnails would be nice..., if you've got 15,000 - 20,000 mp3's, that's a looong scroll!!!

Right click Context Menu entries would also be nice...

Daumn!!! I'm impressed!!!
This little snippet was captured straight from Media Player Preview-full screen and the default audio out, using Logitech Capture. No additional processing whatsoever!
