I think I've successfully been able to delete One Drive from a new laptop except I cannot make it go away from the Quick Access menu. I've done the right click / unpin from quick access approach and even a regedit and its still there. Is there a general quick access menu editor anywhere ? Thanks in advance.Screenshot 2022-12-02 040726.jpg

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
A quick note or caution about customizations of Windows, some things may automatically come back at the next/yearly Version Upgrade and possibly with a Build update. In all actuality we don't own the Operating System, just a license to use it so changes can come up now and then, some we'll like and some we won't.

I do not know what all you have done (and how you did it) in your effort to get rid of onedrive but to be able to remove it from quick access the PC has to first be unlinked from onedrive.
There is a series of steps that have to be done in a particular order when one decides to not use onedrive. People do not understand that onedrive needs to be disabled, not uninstalled. Otherwise, not only will onedrive be back at some point, but you will get nagged about setting it up.

I just did a fresh install of One Drive, unlinked it to this pc, then used Revo uninstaller and One Drive is still listed under Quick Access and it is still accessing iCloud. Ughhh.

No. It is too ingrained into the OS and should not be uninstalled but disabled.
The proper way - Unlink PC from Onedrive In task tray, click Onedrive icon. Click gear icon to get into Onedrive Settings. Under Account tab, select "Unlink this PC"
under Settings tab - Uncheck start Onedrive automatically with Windows.

Tried that too. One Drive is still in the Quick Access menu.

I may have solved the interaction between iCloud and Windows 11 Explorer / Quick access. In iCloud I unchecked the download and upload boxes (see attached) that eliminate part of the issue linking the program and the OS. Then, the OneDrive listing in Quick Access disappears.
