Yes, I am waiting for parts. I have my WD Blue SN580 2 TB which I'm not installing till my Fractal Design Flex 2 PCIe 4.0 x16 Black Vertical GPU Riser arrives. It says it'll be here on the 18th. So I'll do a pic by Pic install of both the NVME and the GPU Riser but not a video. I have not abandoned his post just to let you know..

I look forward to watching this work in progress. The picture of the Tomahawk with the Noctua and the 4TB Crucial NVMe is not for me. That one is for a friend who lives about an hour outside of town. (This old guy is still fighting with TPM keys lol.) :::sigh::: Your build is looking awesome, Lance. By all means, keep us posted.

I thought my GPU Riser would be here by now... No such Luck! Coming from the UK so go figure.

Putting a GPU vertical riser kit together was pretty boring. And installing a NVME is the same. But I did a quick video of the finished install and a pic. But I have a surprise I'll post later. So Stay Tuned.

The LEDs are soo tiny and not invasive in the least. When your system is shut down the green light stays on indicating power to the board. I've had it for years and it hasn't failed me in the least.

I'm also thinking there's probably a better way to tuck that black SATA cable given the way you have your drives hidden already.

What?? Not a 4090?? :oops: Aaaw c'mon, even a 4070 is a step up. That's like buying a 1060 instead of a 1080Ti back in the day.

Yeah, I already did it months ago. Sadly, it doesn't seem work on all fans on older platforms such as the GIGABYTE Z68 system I built.

It's a cash flow thing. 4090 $2500.00 4070 $800.00 to 1000.00 I paid $527.00 all in and that 4060 will do everything I need it too do.

Ya that's to bad. It picked up on my R9 290X just fine and it's more then a decade old. Another reason for picking up the 4060.

I found a different solution to that fan issue. Anyway, they're happy with the build and that's what matters. It does seem to be a good app though. I'm just yankin' your chain on that 4060. I'm running an old EVGA 1070 on this unit and it pretty much handles all my needs without issue. Could probably do with a re-paste but I'm too lazy to bother. It renders okay and still streams better than I thought it would. Perhaps if I were a hard core gamer I'd be more motivated to get a better card, but GFX cards are such a money grab these days. If I buy again I'll likely buy used. (That is, if I'm buying for myself.)

Your just yanking' my chain? I thought I felt my collar getting tight ;-) Buy used! I don't think I would take a chance on a used GPU. You never know what your going to get. But each to there own. I already downloaded the driver and the DDU. Just getting ready! I just checked the Tracking Number and it already in transport. (y)
