Print jobs stuck frequently
Hi to all.
I am encountering problems with a HP Deskjet 2875 and a Lenovo all in one PC (connected through USB) and it becomes annoying.
Print jobs are stuck frequently and randomly. Sometimes already at the first page, sometimes after several pages. It prints a few lines and get stuck. Both Office (Word) and PDF files
If I give a new print command it will push out the stuck job and prints again.
Stop and starting the print spooler again is not really solving the problem.
Printer drivers and hardware are up to date
We did a new install of the printer
HP Print and scan doctor says all is OK
Printing from another PC in our home network gives the same problem
I did an internet search for this problem but could not find anything that helps. Any suggestion is welcome.
Regards,

Have you considered connecting it using WiFi? I had a Brother Color laser printer that was flaky on USB, but it works fine using Ethernet or WiFi.

Yes, that's worth trying. Connected the printer to another USB computer port now, and let's see

Both of my Brother printers are on Ethernet now, and they're rock-solid.

Connected with WiFi now (printer does not have Ethernet) and still the same problem. The only difference is that the half printed page is rejected from the printer right away, instead of being stuck half way with USB connection.
I am starting to think this is a hardware faillure from the printer, because I don't have a clue if it's a buffer problem how to fix that
Regards,
Robert

If both printers of different brands do this, I'd be looking at common elements, that would be Windows drivers.
Did you try opening an admin terminal and running SFC /SCANNOW

It's the same printer, with the same problem connected with USB or WiFi
Printer was reinstalled with the latest drivers and HP Smart
sfc /scannow.................all OK
It's a cheap printer (although only a few months old), so maybe I just trash it.
