I'd like to turn on Windows 11 remote desktop for rare instances when I'm away from home and need to access my desktop which runs 24/7.
Windows 10 remote desktop I think had a max 30 day limit on access, I think.
My idea is to turn on remote desktop on my Windows 11 box and use another port in my virtual server in my router to access.
Normally I'd leave this virtual port off in my router to disallow outside/internet access until I need it, and I can remote into my router and enable it, until no longer needed.
But, once I set it up/enable it, is it always on/available for a remote desktop connection, indefinitely?
(PS, I'm not talking about maximum connection time to a remote desktop)
