OS
Windows 11 Pro
I am currently running 11 Pro stable and want to install Insider Dev 22518. It will download and begin to install but error out at 25% every time. I have cleared Software Distribution folder, reset WU components and attempted to install from ISO (Upgrade). The ISO gives "Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your pc can run....". All normal WU will install no issue. Any thoughts on making this install? Thanks.

extracted a 10 21h2 iso
extracted a 11 22518 iso
deleted the 21h2 install.esd
converted the 22518 install.wim to install.esd
placed new 22518 install.esd into extracted 10 21h2
recompiled modified iso
ran new iso. it lets me get to the installation portion now, but i cannot choose to keep anything (top 2 options are greyed out).
only option is Keep Nothing
advice?

scratch this all... for anyone else that runs into any issue similar to this.. i went through UUPDump, and went back a few builds to Dev 22489 and that installed properly. now updating to 22518 while on the Dev builds.

Why not just update from WU? why ran through all the faff of extracting, converting and recompiling etc. unless of course your PC is not compatible and you're fudging the install. I just change insider channels, run WU and let it install.

Your original post is not that clear. You do not actually say if you are trying to upgrade or clean install. By inference, you are upgrading though.
