That one is a little sketchy, depending on the system and can also be very app specific...,
I find, with certain apps, it offers longer jumplists, more options in jumplist Properties, etc...
best to play around with it yourself.

Is there any way to "improve" multi-monitor support by only showing running program icons on the monitor the program is actually assigned to? This is how DisplayFusion used to work, and it's nice when you have a LOT of apps running on multiple screens, because it keeps each taskbar a lot less cluttered.

Nope! Switch to small icons and back, see what that does.

No joy. Thanks though. I believe it's got to do with my custom theme somehow
Maybe.
I don't have a scroll bar, I hide most of the shortcuts and help me folders that I rarely use!

So I decided to give this program a whirl, and it has almost made Windows 11 acceptable for me.

It allows me to move my task bar to my second monitor, and keeps it there, even through a reboot.
That's a great start. I'm using the 11 start menu which I had positioned to the left side on monitor 2.
And that is where the start menu opens up until I reboot.

Works fine on monitor 1. The problem is that after a reboot with it on monitor 2, even though it
keeps the start button and icons to the left, the start menu opens up in the middle of the screen.

So I have had to be satisfied with them centered for now. I'm just happy I can keep the bar on monitor 2.
And being able to choose the old Windows 10 style explorer ribbon UI is also a welcome tweak as well.
I can only hope that they will also be able to bring back the Windows 10 style start menu at some point.

Will definitely be keeping an eye on the progress of this handy little program.

peace
wanna

Bug: on a multi-monitor setup, open a Start Menu, then while leaving it open, go to another monitor and try to open a second Start Menu.

On my system the first menu closes and the second one opens - but only with the background box, along with buttons for Search, All Programs, Shut Down, and the user picture. Everything else remains blank until the mouse cursor is moved over it, at which point the appropriate button for that location pops into view. It doesn't matter whether it's the primary or secondary menu that's opened first or second, and the issue will continue for as long as the menu attempts to be consecutively open between monitors (ie. clicking back and forth between monitors). It resets as soon as the same menu is closed and then reopened again.

Also, instead of fading in, the second menu kind of flickers on, and instead of the user avatar fading in and moving upwards, it kind of just pops into a static place after a delay.

This happens on Proper 11 and Kinda 10, and while Remastered 7 does not work completely properly (it flickers and has the static avatar), it does populate all buttons at the outset.

This does not happen with middle mouse button clicks (opening the default Windows Start Menu).

Yup to some of the above...
multi monitor... calendar only opens half way on main, not at all on mon 2, have to restart Explorer or reboot...

It may not be SAB's fault though, Windows 10 and 11 suck at dealing with multiple monitors especially of different resolutions!!!

To be fair, all 3 of my monitors are the same size, resolution, and set to the same DPI.

Also, is there a better place to post feedback? Doesn’t seem to be any official links, and this was the most official I could find.
