StartAllBack For Windows 11 has been released.
It's an RC release. I haven't tested it yet as I have Start11 installed.

Edit: I have now tested it. It's working quite well.
Apart from a great start menu, you can also have the Enhanced Classic Taskbar back.
This means (for example) that you can have an uncombined and unlocked Taskbar.
You will now also be able to enhance the Taskbar clock using T-Clock Redux or similar.

You can also change Windows Explorer to Ribbon UI or Simple UI.

I don't know if the guy sent an email, I'll ask him
I asked on the MSFN forum, but the dev doesn't seem interested in answering

But this is not a SAB bug, the guy has a problem with a dll

And yet, just the Windows dll and dll.mui make the difference (the case for the translation of the updates popup, it was the dev who indicated these files for Windows 10 a few years ago)
This is how I found the dll and dll.mui for 24h2 compared to old Windows :)

But I agree, that it would be much better if all the translation was concentrated in the same file (like any software)

Same version of Windows, just the dll(s) that is "corrupted, missing or otherwise"

Like for the popup's translation, I would look for which dll it is (not difficult, just that it takes a little time),
Too bad knowing that some people know the answer :giggle:

That .dll is developed by the StartAllback dev and is changed every new version of SAB!
It is located in the folder C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\StartAllBack

You can see the version of SAB by typing ALT Enter when your cursor is standing on it and then selecting Details.

dll files certainly are not only developed my MS, a lot of those program files are developed by the developers of applications.
BTW. a dll is a (part of) a program as well, but has to be used in combination with a main program.
As a matter of fact it is some kind of program module.

It was indeed a problem with a Windows dll, I found it
Really too bad that the translations are scattered everywhere and not all grouped in the language file

Just a reminder about two issues I've found with 24H2, as it finally released to the public:

- Windows 11 tray flyouts do not appear on top by default when taskbar is put on top, or any other position on that matter, they still appear in the same place - bottm right, regardless of taskbar placement. I need to restart explorer manually to fix that.

- Windows 10 Battery flyout do not appear, it shows action center instead.

It would be intersting to know what file that was. That would help other people with the same problem.

Besides that: I am highly interested, in what view a Windows .dll file can have influence on a text, that is only used / generated in a certain app and probably belongs to that app. Tihiy might be interested as well. he is looking here quite regular!

It appears taskbar Toolbars are no longer available (StartAllBack 3.8.10).

I use this feature many times each day - I hope StartAllBack can bring them back 🙂

These are the intl.cpl and intl.cpl.mui dlls (maybe just the .mui) and the modification is immediate
The dev knows it, he was the one who said for the dll and the translation of the popup updates a few years ago
It is wanted

I tested by "renaming" the dlls after, and the translation is still present, probably "cached"

Because in my NL language intl.cpl.mui file I can't find any connection to the language terms used by StartAllBack, I will leave it like this and have no more comment about your problem. I just have no idea what's going on in your language and in connection to StartAllBack. Sorry about that.

Once you create or use your first Toolbar, the entry will then show by default whether the Taskbar is locked or not...

Hello. I've been having the following issue since recent updates. On multiple monitors setups whenever I extend or duplicate screens, shellhost crashes. Only happens when StartAllBack is enabled. Here are the details.

This happens under Windows 11 Pro OS latest release preview build 26100.1882, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.23.0.
