StartAllBack

I would be very surprised if Tihiy could (and would want to) change that without rewriting the whole app for action centre.
I embarrassingly realized that, as soon as I posted it, because he left immediately, probably mumbling under his breath "Screw that, buddy!!!"
I added the calendar of T-Clock instead. If possible via T-Clock itself, otherwise as a separate shortcut on the desktop.
Can almost get that within SAB itself, no dual/triple calendar though!

I did not get that, but because you posted this screenshot, I tried again and noted I had to switch over to Windows 7 Flyout styles.
Which on my normal system I did have, on my testsystem I did not (there it was Windows 11 flyout style).
A single calendar is good enough for me, so I can disable T-Clock now (I myself don't need other colours for the clock).
Which only means I have to disable autostart in T-Clock, that's enough, I'll leave the portable program on my system.
Thanks for the addition!

I noted one problem with the clock of StartAllBack:
When hoovering the clock (positioning the cursor above the clock), the date is not shown.

This is the clock of Windows, without taskbar enhanced by StartAllBack, when hoovering the clock:
001436.jpg

This is the clock of Windows, with taskbar enhanced by StartAllBack, when hoovering the clock:

Where IMHO it should look like this (screenshot taken with use of T-Clock):
001438.jpg

Could you correct that, Tihiy?

Indeed, on my VirtualBox testsystem it does function, but on my normal system not.
Until now I can't find what's wrong. Tried any possible setting in StartAllBack and in Windows taskbar settings, but don't get it right.
Can compare those settings in the testsystem and the normal system, but find no difference.
Had an update of Windows in the meantime and several resets, but nothing helps.
I think the problem is not severe enough to make a system repair, so I accept for the time being that it's like this.
Everything else is functioning like I would like to have it...
Maybe later I'll try again.
Presumably it is not a bug of StartAllBack itself.

you can always do this trick to get both the Windows and TClock calendars to show as well

there is also this in the store if you want the windows calendar without the notifications above it:

i'm still looking around to see how this guy did it:

Indeed, that was causing the 'problem'.
It did not matter in versions until 3.6.15, but appearantly now it does.
I always had switched that off because I don't like all those popups when I go over my desktop or over folders or files in the File Explorer.
So I'll have to decide whether to use that function and have the popup date or not.
Of course I could just click on the clock and have the day and date as well.
But it intriged me why the date popup did not appear in verson 3.7.

In the meantime I had followed the advice of @dacrone :
Just uninstall SAB with revo and clean out all reg keys and AppData then reinstall it
Because I know the licence is stored in the registry as well and I don't know if a renewed licence will be considered as an extra one, I had saved the complete registrykey [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack] before deleting all data with Revo uninstaller. And that was good, because by doing the uninstall, I lost all my settings and extra menus as well after reinstalling StartAllBack and the whole uninstall/reinstall did not help for the popup date problem. Understandable if one looks at Tihiy's advice.

So I uninstalled StartAllBack again, put back the registry-entry as I saved it before, installed SAB again and had all settings back, including my licence. Happy to have saved the registry-entry!

The suggestion given by @dacrone in post #892 I will look into later.

Thanks to all who helped! (y)

Good call.. thats my bad. i assumed activation was tied to machine id.. but i could be wrong. i didnt think about you backing up your settings as i was thinking one of them may be corrupted, causing the issue. glad it all worked for you though.

Nothing to worry about!

That does function! Very clever. (y)
Here's how I am going to use it:
- Single left click opens Windows calendar with analog clock and seconds viewable.
- Double click opens T-Clock calendar, where I can see more than one month next to each other.

I made the clock of StartAllBack exectly the same size as in T-Clock, so that you don't even see the difference at startup.

That's it (would Shawn say).

so with startallback, you can keep the windows 11 flyouts chosen, and create a shortcut for win+alt+d (i used autohotkey (ahk) and compiled an exe) to launch the win 10 calendar flyout from tclock on left click... only issue is, it launches in the middle of the taskbar. anyone know how to reposition this via keystroke offhand?
