StartAllBack For Windows 11 has been released.
It's an RC release. I haven't tested it yet as I have Start11 installed.

Edit: I have now tested it. It's working quite well.
Apart from a great start menu, you can also have the Enhanced Classic Taskbar back.
This means (for example) that you can have an uncombined and unlocked Taskbar.
You will now also be able to enhance the Taskbar clock using T-Clock Redux or similar.

You can also change Windows Explorer to Ribbon UI or Simple UI.

    I use this computer for photo/video editing and to track severe weather
I still have the issue when SAB starts my taskbar is set to top and the Notifications/Calendar will not open or if it does it's on the left side over the start button. If I open the SAB settings and change the taskbar to bottom then the notifications opens on the right as it should. Then if I move it back to the top it works as should. But I have to keep doing this each time the PC boots if I want it to work right.

Did you try to uninstall SAB and reinstall it?

Try using Kinda 10 in the Welcome menu. If you don't like the setting you can go back to Proper 11.

I'm running StartAllBack on the canary builds and just found out that one of the builds deactivated my license. Anyone using insider builds should check to see if SAB is still activated. I copy and pasted the key from the email into SAB and all is good again.

For whatever reason, it was just on my new desktop. The old desktop stayed activated. There were a few times that I have had the same problem with Macrium. The next time I go to my mancave I'll have to check my laptop.

No because I've installed it on ALL my PCs and it acts the same way. Matter of fact I just did a fresh install and it still does this.

EDIT: Just changed it to Kinda 10 and it seems to work correctly. Not wild about the look but it's better than the taskbar on the bottom!

No problem! Just woke up when i posted it. And did not not have my coffee yet.

Issue is that onces the taskbar is at the top, music program MediaMonkey, controls disappear, and later on also loses the thumbnail creation.
First:

Have talked to the dev's of MM, and they have tested it aswell, resulting in the same issues. They have checked there code, but did not find any issues. There using: DwmSetIconicThumbnail in dwmapi.dll : DwmSetIconicThumbnail function (dwmapi.h) - Win32 apps.
Once thumbnail generations stops working, they get the following errors returned:
First error; System Error. Code: 87
Second error: The parameter is incorrect
They have checked, and there parameters are always correct. When using normal win11 taskbar at the bottom, there are no issues.

"Later on", Sometimes after a few hours, but happens more frequently after an hour of 7 to 10. Sporadically it is still working after 24hours.

Yeah i am sorry, i have no idea why it happens or what triggers it, for me it seems random.
Any logging i can turn on and provide?
Edit: Found out that i needed to restart explorer when having DebugView running for StartAllBack to be able to log. (have that app already running for my own programs). Will provide errors when it happens.

The only real messages i see in debugview is:
StartIsBack: forbiding XAML launcher to start (typo --> forbiding should be forbidding)
After that i don't see any logging popup from Start all back. Do i need to do more, then just start debugview, restart explorer.exe to see more log entries?

After this bugs happens, i need to reboot/logoff my computer to make the flyout work again. (or restart dwm.exe)

- Added Widgets position switch to Tray icons

- Some keyboard navigation changes for start menu

- Fix start menu with wrong size/fonts if opened during DPI change

- Fix possible hang with task/thumb tooltips with multi-DPI displays

- Fix .ico not loading for modern app jump lists
