Thanks but I can get my scores through Winaero Tweaker or by running the assessment, but just commenting on getting zeros with PowerShell and that method ;)

WEI-score is useful. It shows what kind of experience you can expect from your Windows instance on your current hardware and where the bottleneck possibly could be. For instance, you could have all scores at 9.9 except for disk score at 2. This would drag your overall experience to terrible even if your other hardware is very fast and snappy.

If there was a most useless benchmark. this one would take the cake !!!!
It was meant to run in background during W7 installation to decide on some default settings. First time I encountered it was with my old AMD Phenom II x4 system with HDDs only and I get almost same scores with my state of art Ryzen with 3 NVMe drives.

Are you telling me a user would not know if they have a crappy hard drive if they are running a modern (say) i7 pc?

There are far better tools than wei to check performance.

All these wei posts are just saying "my dad is stronger than your dad"

This exceptionally crappy tool had some slight use two decades ago - hell you have to even hunt around to use it now.

I wish MS would remove it completely, but instead of "wei piddling contest" posts, we would then get "how do I reinstall WEI" posts instead LOL.
