We see this on a non regular basis. A Troll post that ends up 15 pages in size. It’s inevitable that people will respond, this is the way of the Troll.

They’re funny for a while until @z3r010 decides that enough’s enough, boots the member or locks/deletes the thread.
Not trying to be a suck up, but I find admin here to be incredibly patient and tolerating. In my opinion, it is in fact the best run forum I have ever been a member of (This of course includes the sister sites)

You started with Windows 3.0? My first Windows computer was a Packard Bell 386 running Windows 3.11 for Workgroups. My first computers were the Atari computers. The very first was the Atari 800XL. Eventually I moved up to a Tandy 1200RLX running Deskmate. When I decided to move up from the Tandy computers I was debating if I should go with Windows or Apple. Because of the larger selection of software for Windows I went with Windows. Looking back, I'm glad I did.

My first computer was a home-brew 8080 computer in an S100 chassis. I wire-wrapped the memory and I/O boards and bought one of the first available processor boards. I wrote my own BIOS so I could run CP/M and interface to my custom I/O board.

My best friend that got me into computers started out with a computer from Radio Shack that was about the size of a handheld calculator. He had to type in his own programming. I forget how he saved his programming. I'm going to do a search and see what I can find.

What if all that energy were instead put in to helping folks move to, say, linux Mint?
Just a thought.

Well if it can make a 10" laptop that runs core i7 and has 16 bg ram and is 1" thick with superior key travel, then I'm all for it! Because such a thing doesn't exist these days!

The voices are very realistic now - I had a phone call from an AI bot trying to sell me solar heating panels the other day. Nearly fooled me into thinking it was a real person.
