Are you able to open Windows & Security tab? Mine doesn't do anything after clicking on it.

Security at a glance
app - same as double clicking on the Defender icon in Notification area.Cool! I'm not a big upgrade fan - I did initially but then clean installed once I knew this latest version worked ok.Ok. Apparently, it works fine on my clean installed machine but not the upgraded Win 10 Insider Preview.
It seems that the upgrade path is still not very seamless then.

Still running very well but a couple of minor things. I will continue to fumble around trying to fix but if anyone has a better grasp than me, please feel free to say something. Or, if there's a dedicated section to these types of issues, pls. move this post accordingly. I did look prior to posting but maybe something escaped my notice.
1. Several icons are now missing in the Search app. How does one restore them? Rebuild a cache or something?
Edit: hmm, maybe my cleaner is a little too gung-ho about cleaning the icon cache. I will see what can be done about it in the cleaner's settings. Haven't had this problem in Windows 10 and I haven't changed the cleaner's settings.
2. When I wake the machine from sleep and then click on the lock-screen to sign in, if I click too closely to my acct. name in the center, the Start Menu pops up as soon as the desktop loads.
Yeah i think the option is there in windows but it doesnt work fully, it just gives a blank taskbar with no icons and i cant add any either, But they did say itll be a future thingYeah, I haven't used it in a long time, but I did buy DisplayFusion a while back, and I'm almost tempted to throw it on here, both to have a second taskbar working (if that works in Win11 yet), but also to have separate WPs - I could do it easily in 10, but Win11 isn't giving me the option to pick more than one for each monitor.....
I'm just glad/relieved/happy that ClassicShell works on 11! Thank you for that bit of good news.I'll start.
I am not a big fan of the new icon based "Start" menu. It is just like opening a "folder".
I still like and miss the multi-functional classic start menu.

And just to satisfy my "Like", I installed the Classic Shell app and it still looks so good and offers more options. It is like a one-stop-shop place for me. I wish there is a built-in options for start menu.

EDIT:
Ok, my first dislike is officially resolved. Thanks @Brink for the tut.
I can live with the Win 10 start menu...

I like to use Classic Shell with mouse hover set to open the menu. This setting doesn't work for me in W11. Otherwise I can open Classic Shell using the Windows key and it works fine. Can you check if you can get Classic Shell to open using mouse hover over the start icon?I'm just glad/relieved/happy that ClassicShell works on 11! Thank you for that bit of good news.
