Hi everybody.

Don't know why ? But every time I come back to the Windows 11 Forums, I cannot find my previous Posts to continue with a Topic.

So here goes, starting again ?

My original question was, can I use Windows 10 Icons in place of the "not so nice" Windows 11 Icons please.

I have finally found the Windows 10 Icons and they are currently sat in a Folder on the Desktop of my new Windows 11 Laptop.

Problem is, I don't know what to do with them next.

Any help Please ?

May thanks.

Paul.

thats gonna be tedious, you'll have to replace them one by one from imageres.dll and shell32.dll.

it would be easier for you to download icon packs as it comes with installer.

there are tons in

Hj vannn many thanks for your reply.

Will Certainly have a look. The Ones I have are the set from Windows 10 containing many favourites.

Thought I could just strait swap One File of Icons for the other ?

Many thanks.

Paul.

Paul, I possible pay solution might be IconPacker: Stardock IconPackager: Change your Windows dekstop icons. I use it and am pretty happy with it. I don't know if it will allow you to pull from your favorite icons, but you can look into it.
