Windows update errors


FOUND A SOLUTION. Hope it works for everyone having this problem.

Run the WU Troubleshooter:
Settings>System>Troubleshoot>Other troubleshooters>Windows Update>Run

Let it run, even if it takes some time. Mine took about 8 min to resolve.
When you get the popup window saying things were resolved, just close it.

Now go back to Windows Update. Click on Pause for 1 week.
Now click on Resume Updates, and voilá! All resolved! (y)

I hadn't tried pausing, now I'm trying.

I ran WU three times so far and all good. Hopefully it is resolved once and for all.
Sometimes Windows Update gets corrupted somehow.

I'm thinking it's not us to suddenly appear out of the blue. Seems related to the 1255 and 1265 updates and will probably hit others as well.

Well the troubleshoot, pause, resume updates trick doesn't work on my other machine 🙁. Tired it twice and they reappear.

Now they're not showing up for me. I did the same process a few times. After the last pause, I restarted the laptop. I clicked continue. They are not visible now. Maybe they will appear again after a while, I don't know.

Don't get your hopes up as the problem has already reappeared on my first machine with the 22623.1255 build again. Gonna need a fix from MS for this mess, hopefully soon.

I wonder if today's (KB5022497) update caused a problem? I took an image with macrium 2 days ago. I wonder if I go back to that date again, will this problem occur in the updates? i dont know :)

My Win10 system had a issue were these same updates you all are discussing, would install over and over and over.
Running the Win-update troubleshooter appears to fix it fix it.

It worked for me earlier, but the problems have started up again.
I'll reboot my PC and try one more time. If it continues to occur for me and others, then I'm thinking MS will have to release a fix.
